On 14.10.2023, Kumbakonam Government Polytechnic College, in association with the Rural Welfare Project and Young Chenchiluvai Association, conducted a dengue awareness programme. Students were educated on dengue prevention and provided with Nilavembu (herbal) drinking water to boost immunity.

Today (13.10.2023), our students, along with their NSS and YRC coordinators, participated in a dengue fever awareness rally at Kumbakonam. The rally aimed to educate the public about dengue prevention and the importance of maintaining a clean environment.

On 16.09.2023, Mr. Ananthakumar from AEC Computer conducted a Yoga Orientation Programme for students. He demonstrated various yoga postures and breathing techniques to promote physical fitness, mental clarity, and overall wellness.

On 30.08.2023, first-year students of Government Polytechnic College, Kumbakonam, participated in a climate change awareness program organized by Government FM 90.4. The event aimed to educate students about climate change and its impact on the environment.

On 11th August 2023, students and staff of our college took a pledge against drug use. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and promote a healthy, drug-free campus environment
