As part of celebrating World Youth Skills Day and Education Development Day, first-year students participated in the painting competition. The event showcased their creativity and artistic talents.

An in-depth awareness session on environmental pollution was presented by Mrs. R. Rajathi and Mrs. K.Chantra,. They discussed various forms of pollution—air, water, soil, and noise—and their harmful effects on humans and ecosystems. Students were urged to be environmentally conscious and contribute to pollution reduction through daily habits. The session was educational and emotionally stirring.

Actor Thalaivasal Vijay delivered a motivational speech emphasizing discipline, hard work, and self-confidence. His inspiring words encouraged the students to stay focused on their goals and face challenges positively.

Mr. Vijay, Head of Agriculture at Arasu Engineering College, delivered a detailed talk on global warming and climate change. He explained the impact of human activities on the environment and emphasized eco-friendly practices like tree planting, recycling, and energy conservation. His speech was supported by data, visuals, and real-life examples that made the topic engaging and impactful.

During the First Year Welcome Programme, all Heads of Departments addressed the students and explained about the college and its academic environment. They also introduced their respective departments and guided the students about courses and facilities.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Arasu Polytechnic College, Kumbakonam, is proud to announce that during the academic year 2024–2025, on 25th April 2025, the first three place winners from the department were awarded Student Certificates along with a Shield in recognition of their outstanding performer

Today (29/03/2025), Friday, the Tamil Literary Association Function organized by the Science & Humanities Department was successfully conducted. We sincerely thank the college management, Principals, Vice Principal, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students for their continuous support.

The Department of Science and Humanities at Arasu Polytechnic College organized an awareness seminar on nature conservation. Mr. R. Vijay, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Arasu Engineering College, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of protecting the environment.

Today, YRC students successfully conducted a campus cleanliness drive at our college. The activity promoted hygiene awareness and encouraged students to maintain a clean and healthy environment.

The First Year Inauguration was held on 15th July 2024 to welcome the new students to the college. The event included addresses by faculty members and department heads, . introducing students to college life and academic expectations.
