On 08 September 2025, the students of the Civil Engineering Department successfully assembled a drone as part of the Naan Mudhalvan course. This hands-on activity provided students with practical exposure to emerging technologies, enhancing their understanding of drone components, assembly techniques, and their applications in civil engineering fields such as surveying, mapping, and site inspection.

On 08 September 2025, in connection with the celebration of Engineer’s Day, the Department of Civil Engineering organized a Drawing Competition for students. The event aimed to foster creativity, technical visualization, and engineering design skills among participants.
